Community Involvement
The firm also is proud of its commitment to the community. Lane & Waterman attorneys serve on and lead the boards of local organizations and charities, and commit a minimum of 250 pro bono hours of legal assistance yearly to H.E.L.P. Legal Services and Prairie States Legal Services.
The firm celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2004 with a $150,000 gift to H.E.L.P. Legal Services and Prairie States Legal Services, which provide free legal assistance to individuals with lower incomes. The gift is a reflection of the firm's dedication to the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities. The firm, which is renowned for its excellence, continues to attract top law-school graduates who are as versatile as the cases managed by Lane & Waterman.
